Here is a link for the larger (22.7 mm offset) front rotors, slotted and cross drilled at 239.95 USD

The only one I have heard about, and heard good things about, is EBC. Whatever you do, don't get racing brake pads unless you are using your A6 on the track.

Thanks for the link, and the EBC did look the nicest or best quality for the price. I wasnt planning on buying racing pads a bit too much $$ for me, but why are they not good to have off the track?

Because racing pads need to have a lot of heat in them to work effectively. in day to day driving your brakes will not heat up that much and render racing pads uneficient and unpredicatable.

Last time i got EBC Green Stuffs- this time I got the RedStuffs... Red ones aren't on yet- but working on it this morning...

Have either of you seen link showing how to take apart the front brake assembly- it looks straightforward but I am being cautious with everything in this process as it is my first brake job...

and what ever you do, DO NOT buy PBR ceramic brake pads. THE worst pads I have ever bought. brake dust is terrible and causes the brakes to squeak quite often.

Oh, I wish I read this before I got mine. I'm due to install over the weekend. I was happy with the PBR Metal Masters pads, and thought the ceramics would be cut down on the dust.
