4.2 under the knife for some RS6 parts...
I was really hoping that my RS6 sideskirts would be ready for Sunday's NE Dustoff at seekonk speedway (a "V-Dubber" event), but alas...it will not be ready until middle of next week. No worries, I'd rather have these guys take their time and do it right than to rush them.
Waiting to have these put on...

But here is my car as of this afternoon...

...I guess they needed to fix a few things first...

My passenger side rear door and rear quarter panel were poorly painted by the previous owner's body shop. I know silver is a PITA to match perfectly, but it was not even close! To top it off, there were numerous fish-eyes and small spots of uneven paint flakes. So my main man Billy at Anchor in Woburn is fixing that for me before the car gets the new parts.
He's such a perfectionist, he even found some imperfections on the filler door (as well as inside around the filler hole) and the rear door handle, so he is going to have those redone as well...

...eventually, it will look like this...

No rush...

I'll be back to check it out soon enough!!!

Here was his eBay listing (with more photos). He has the RS6 front bumper and grilles, the RS6 sides, H&R coilovers, H-sport sways, RS6 exhaust, RS6 wheels, and the RS6 carbon fiber trim. VERY sweet ride. I have no idea what the reserve was on that auction.

...wow. that car is gorgeous. you're going to be very happy when your sideskirts get on.
unfortunately, 25 grand is a teeny bit out of my price range or i would be all over this.

Buy his car, and it really does not need anything else (except for maybe the spoiler, but I've bugged him enough on that one!).
