Hi All,

My 95 A6 sometimes [seldom] has a bang or clunk from the rear of the vehicle when moving off or at low speeds. A simple bang and thats it, it doesn't continue to make noise - almost like I've hit a pothole or similar but definately a bang / loud clunk. The vehicle drives fine, no jolts, no missing gear shifts, just the occasional bang. Doesn't happen all the time in fact buggar all. I recently had a RWC [roadworthy cert' - Australia] completed and the spannerman didn't pick anything up apart from the rose bushes were replaced.

Any thoughts?
