95 A6Q Locking Issues

95 A6Q Locking Issues
Have searched for an answer to my latest Audi dilemma but to no avail. Unlocked the passenger side of the wife's A6Q yesterday to get something out (wasn't motivated to go around to driver side). Everything opened fine, now the car will only lock the driver side door and the auto-lock motor runs for about 15 seconds each time I use the key in the door. Any thoughts on this latest Audi irritant? Many thx!!

You have to put the key in the door? Hhhmmmm. I kinda, sorta remember doing that way back when....
But, seriously, you need to start taking doors apart as it sounds like something has come undone, has hung up or a sensor has gone bad. Only patient experimentation (or expensive diagnostics, your choice) will reveil the answer.
Good luck,
Bob

Hey Bob, as I suspected, just thought it would be fun to throw it out there in the hopes that it were a quick fix. I'm actually looking forward to the next idiosnycratic Audi quirk that inevitably will pop up w/o fail.
on a seperate note Bob, you may know the answer to this question. I'm going to replace the rear calipers (one stuck) and pads on this 95 A6Q tomorrow, if I recall there is a set number of brake pumps to release calipers-do you happen to be familiar with this or am I having a bad Audi flashback here?
Thanks for your help Bob!
