Default 96 a6 Keyless Entry?

I just bought a 96 A6 wagon yesterday and it doesn't have fobs for keyless entry. Is there keyless entry for this car and I just don't have the fobs, or is keyless entry not available. Im moving to Vermont where i fear my locks will freeze up and keyless entry is quite useful.

Call the dealer, I'm pretty confident that it must have keyless entry. My 93 volvo and 91 saab did.

If not some times the cheapest way is to get a aftermarket alarm, use the keyless off that

I have 2 keyless remotes that I bought for my 97 Cabriolet. They work pefectly, but the unit in my car is bad. The dealer tested the remotes and eveything is fuctional. It is just not worth it to me to pay to have the unit in the car fixed ($600). Anyone have any ideas where I can sell these remotes?
