96 A6 Misfires

96 A6 Misfires
I just boughta 96 A6 with the check engine light on.
I pulled the codes and got random/multiple misfires so I replaced the plugs and wires with bosch platinum plugs and duralast wires.
Now I get the P0302 cyl #2 misfire code over and over.
As soon as I clear it it takes about 30min of driving to bring it back.
The engine idles smoothly most of the time but occasioally has a rough idle.
Otherwise it runs great and gets around 20mpg.
Any ideas?

RE: 96 A6 Misfires
probably need to replace the coil's, they go bad on the 2.8's i have had 2 cars with the 12 valve 2.8 and both had to replace the coils eventually. all 3 of em come together as an assembly, it wasnt too bad if i remember correctly just over 2 hundred dollars.
