Default 97 Quattro wagon No Spark

My A6 was running rough at low RPMs, all of a sudden one afternoon. Decided to try to get it home. It died at a stop sign on the way. Wont start, no spark in any cylinders. Just hoping for a point in the right direction.. MAF, ECU... I haven't started messing with it too much, just figured out it wasn't getting spark.

Anything helps

Thanks,

Jeff

I would check to see if your are getting injector pulse signal from the ecm. If no injector pulse you could have a bad crank sensor.
Upon rereading your post did you actually check for spark or are you guessing?
Check to see if you are getting fuel?

This is what I thought when my car died in my garage when I was warming it up one morning. Fuel pump it was.

I originally thought fuel pump. Then i checked a spark plug off each coil pack and got nothing at all. It smelled like I was getting fuel but I can't be sure yet. My buddy suggested crank sensor. How do I check the injector pulse signal?
