99" A6 AVANT QUATTRO - The headlight washers pop up OK but get held up on the lip of the opening on the bumper. I have to manually Tap them back toward the grill in order for them to retract. I am thinking that someone may have backed into my bumper and knocked the alignment off.

Is their an alignment ajustment for these washers or do you have any advise on how to correct this problem?

How to I use them! lol...

 

They are automatic when the lights are on and you hold the washer fluid for more than 3 seconds.

 

If you think someone hit your front bumper and moved it back you might try backing into a wall to see if you can move it forward.

Just a Polish idea for German car that is in the USA, on French tires,using Mid East gasoline, driven by an old fart, drinking Columbian Coffee. OK forget the Columbian coffee-- substitute smokingsomething from Columbia.

 

I'm pretty sure my headlight washers don't exist... stupid drunk a** previous owner.
