On my 99 A6, the turn signals, windshield wipers, and heater blower (there may be other things) have all gone out all at once. I first noticed the turn signals intermittently going out but now they are completely gone along with the other items. I've read that it could either be the ignition switch or a relay, although the relay is apparently related to a solar sunroof which I do not have. Does that rule out the relay? I've tried jiggling the key around in the switch to no avail.

Have you checked all of the fuses? I would start there.

 

Thank you for the reply. That was the first thing I checked and they are all fine. I decided to check the relays. I had read elsewhere about relay #370 so I pulled it out. I then shorted two of the pins together in the socket, following the schematic on the relay, and viola, the blinkers and wipers came on. I've order the new part and it should be here shortly. That should definitely fix it but if it doesn't, I'll be back with a post.
