Default A6 2.0 TDI Injector problem

I have Audi A6 2.0 TDI, 56 Reg, 98k, and recently oil pump failed which caused big problems. First Turbo is seized and had to change turbo. In a couple of weeks injectors are gone so I have to get 4 new injectors which are very costly. I ve now lost the confidence to the car. Even though the car has a full Audi service history and been driven very well and clean, it still causes problems. When I search online, I found out that the are very common problems that audi owners are experiencing which make me rethink about audi reliability and durability. My question is, will I get further problems with the car when you consider the age and mileage? Are there more common problems awaiting round the corner that I need to be aware of?

Hi there

Your experiences mirror mine. I own an Audi a4 2.0 tdi, 55 reg, 94k miles and in recent weeks I have been hit with the oil pump issue. It all started when the oil pressure light came on, so I've had it taken to an audi specialist (not main dealers) and have had it recently changed. While the car is driving ok, it is now making a howling noise. I am told that the Turbo could be going, but no black smoke yet...

Out of interest, how much did it cost you to replace the turbo? I am looking to buy a replacement turbo, but if after this I am going to be experiencing further problems I would rather just sell the car.

Keen to know how you have got on.

Thanks
