Default A6 2.7T Tip 1/4 times...

I did a lazy search and didn't find much and since no one around here keeps times in their sig, I was just wondering what some peope are running in the 1/4 mile, ET and trap speed. I'm just wondering what to expect stock and then with some mods. Also, what is the fastest A6 2.7T out there?

Check out this site.

dragtimes.com

Just click on browse and select the make and model. There are tons of cars and times on there.

I think stock stip is 14.6, chipped could 14-14.2?

I've looked in the timeslip database here and on dragtimes. Unfortunately the few Audi A6 2.7T listings that they have are rather vague. I used to drag race a lot and was interested in seeing what this car can do and where some mods can bring me. I've seen times from high 12's to high 14's on them, but no rhyme or reason why one car is running so much better than another.

I know that drag racing isn't exactly the "thing to do" with these cars, but since I have a track right near me it's the most convenient form of racing. What I'm trying to find out is what is a good time stock, what is a good time chipped, what about with various other mods, what's a good launch technique? I generally like to have a baseline to see how I'm doing.

I guess I'll just read up on what the S4 guys are doing and knock off a couple tenths for the weight difference.
