a6 2.8 v6 C4 how to bleed cooling system?
car gets very hot within few minutes.
the waterpipe burst and the headgascket blew. i replaced both including oil, oilfilter and cylinder headbolts.
car still gets very hot very fast. when i drive it, it struggles to gain revs and then it just cuts out. there is also allot of noise coming from the hydraulic lifters. also want to know what oil is recommended for this car.
how do i bleed the cooling system?
please help.

Most Audi models are recommended to run 0w40, full synthetic.
As for bleeding the coolant system, there should be a 6mm (?) allen head bolt found right around your intake manifold that needs to be cracked open and bled until a steady stream comes out. Once that happens, tighten the bolt. Also, you may have to bleed the system at the heater core.
One of the hoses has a circle with a small pin hole in the middle. Loosen the retaining clip by simply sliding it down, then slowly pull the hose off of the metal outlet pipe until the circle / hole clears the end of the pipe. You should see some air escape along with some coolant. Again, once a steady stream comes out, replace the hose to its original position and put the clip back where it was.
