How to bleed cooling system please help
I have searched everywhere for this. Anyone know how to do it. I'm running hot if I idle for 10 minutesandit starts to climb up a tick. Level is good, tstat recently replaced when I had the timing belt done. Any ideas?
If so, the dealer should replace that for free. The extra heat from 1 tick cracked my reservoir tank and now it leaks. I'm waiting for that to get in before I go to the dealer. I don't want them to have an excuse. How about the bleeding procedure. Isn't it required?
i guess i don't see a reason you need to bleed it. is it due for a change or is the color a rusty brown and you can see rust particles in the mix? coolant doesn't just go bad, but if you want to make sure you have a good water/antifreeze mix, get a coolant meter from a parts store for 6 bucks and check. no sense in wasting even more money on more antifreeze if the coolant isn't the problem.
