Thinking about getting an A6 4,2 quattro. Can anybody give me some advice of problems with htese vehicles and what to look out for ?
i have recently made the mistake of buying a L200 only to find out the hard way that they suffer from cracked cylinder heads which cost me a tidy sum to fix. Just dont want to fall into same problem so any help appreciated.

Best to spend a couple of hunderd on a independent assessment at an Audi shop.

 

every car = cost and the bigger the engine = the bigger the cost to repair so service history is very important, the 4.2 is a cruiser and built to last
