I am really close to purchasing a 2003 a6 Allroad with 49k miles. I am hearing a ton of nightmare stories about front end problems and costly repairs. I am hearing about ball joint, cv, and 8 control arm problems. Can someone please explain these problems and what years they affect. You could be saving a young guy a ton of money. Those are the same issues that all audis except the tt have. The only issue that is different for the allroad is the front air springs for the air suspension. Sometimes they leak. Figure around 700 bucks per airbag at a dealer.
