A6 Allroad Starter/alternator issue
I have a 2021 a6 allroad 340 mild hybrid that has had multiple issues since I've owned it. It's current issue is the alternator dying with the vehicle needing to be recovered from the side of the road. Luckily it has been fixed under warranty, not everything has been on this car, but I'm hoping people can help me see if the alternator on mild hybrids is a possible early failure point in these modern cars. I've seen plenty of threads about belts being chucked or diy work shorting bits out but nothing coming up with these alternators dying after 2 years/20,000 miles.
If anyone has another instances of this part going wrong prematurely then I would like to hear. I want to know if this is wider issue or if it is particular to my cursed car, due to the history of this car I've told the service manager I won't accept the vehicle back until they can tell me why it died or offer a 3 year warranty on that part. If it's a rare item to go wrong I'll let it slide and make do with the 1 year but if it's common then I would like to show the evidence that this is a wider issue.
For anyone interested in the history:

For anyone interested in the history:
- 2 days after taking delivery an injector blew out the head, or similar fault, the car was recovered to audi.
- 6 months old the passenger door lock went mad and locked people in the car or locked people out.
- 1 year the aircon last it's gas, apparently that was my fault and it's a long story that doesn't add up.
- not quite 2 years and now the alternator has died.
