A6 avant turn signals and headlight prob.
i'm having a problem with my A6 turn signals and drivers side headlight. turn signals won't work. the problem started with the signals blinking randomly when engaged and now have stopped working altogether. is it a switch? headlght is out on drivers side. i took old bulb out and new bulb does not work. these are hid bulbs. there doesn't seem to be any power to where the bulb plugs in. did i f it up by taking the old bulb out myself? old bulb blew after i noticed moisture in headlight, because plastic housing on back of light was not clipped on properly. any help??

The problem with the turn signals is the flasher switch above the radio, as for the headlight if they are xenon bulbs check the power to the igniter, (the silver box bolted to the headlight assembly) if thats ok the igniter is bad.

i thought that might be the problem with the headlight. thanks, i'll check that. as far as the turn signals, my flashers work fine(when i push the button above the radio) it's only my turn signals that don't work. are they on the same switch?

The blinker relay is in this switch. The switch just needs to be replaced. 30-40 bucks and its a quick DIY.
All you do :
Carefully pop off the trim...6 clips i believe
pull the switch plug in new one (plug and play)
replace your trim and you are good to go.
very easy.
