A6 C5 Saloon boot doesn't open
Hello, I've recently came up with a problem that my boot doesn't open anymore after one night. Thought it was just the weather and having the seals frozen, but after sitting in a warm garage for a week there still was no way to access it. My car doesn't have folding seats so it's not possible to go into it from the rear. The boot makes sounds when trying to open it as if it still working, but there is no movement. How should I approach this problem?
Check the lock mechanism: Make sure the boot is not simply jammed due to a mechanical problem or debris in the latch or lock. Try pushing down on the boot lid while someone else activates the boot open button. Sometimes this helps relieve the tension that may be holding the boot closed. Manual opening lever: In most vehicles, the boot manual opening lever is located inside the passenger compartment, usually next to the driver's seat or on the floor. Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual to locate this lever and use it to manually open the boot. I had time to play online casinos while I waited for help, and amazingly enough, according to information from https://casinosanalyzer.com/online-casinos/punt.casino I went and got myself some money to pay the mechanic) Battery Voltage: A weak or discharged vehicle battery may not have enough power to fully unlock the boot. Make sure the vehicle battery is in good condition and fully charged. If the battery is low, try starting the vehicle and then attempt to unlock the boot. Checking the fuses: Check the vehicle's fuse box to make sure the fuse associated with opening the boot is not damaged. If the fuse is blown, replace it and try opening the boot again.
