Default A6 coin compartment

Where do you guys keep your change for tolls and such. There is no coin compartment in the A6. Is there a replacement coin tray that one can buy to replace the ash tray?

Try this, http://www.audiworld.com/tech/int.html

There is a DIY about putting a coin holder into the front arm rest.

I probably should have specific the year, its a 2008 A6. That coin hold will not fit in the A6 arm rest. The A6's armrest is wider than the A4.

See if your toll service offers a pike pass or something like that. It's a small electronic device that you keep in the car and the readers at the toll gate scan it as you go by. It just deducts it from your account. No need to stop. That's what I had to do. I got tired of dropping change all over my car and getting it stuck everywhere. Good luck.

I bought an I-Pass which works on the IL system and in NY. MA, NJ as well. It saves a ton of time driving through the toll plazas.

I advise against using your ashtray for coins (which I used to do) because if one falls behind the ashtray it can jam it.

Tongue in cheek: if you can afford a 2008 A6, you can always pay with bills and just throw the change on the floor!
