I am thinking about getting an A6 3.0 TDI when my current lease runs out in October. Any experience, god or bad, with this model?

 

Waiting on the A7 TDI, but one of our daughters has a 2013 Passat TDI, and she loves it. The service manager at our local Audi dealership says that the A6 and A8 diesels are great. He has always told me the truth....even when I haven't liked what I have heard. Any Audi I buy going forward will be the TDI version. I do wish that they would put the TDI in the Premium Plus and not just the Prestige.

 

I just got my 2014 Premium Plus A6 TDI earlier today. It is by far the best car i've ever owned and it's only been a few hours! haha. After days and days of research and reading about the TDI and after test driving it a few times I was convinced quick that with the great MPG's and power provided it's a win win my friend. The service managers and tech guys were right there with me on how much they appreciate the TDI's and how they're taking over the scene. Driving it home today my miles until empty showed 670 and it is a 19.8 gallon tank (pretty sure) so in my book that's damn good considering the size of the car and the 5.5 second 0-60 times. What's the latest news on an emission fix for the A6 TDI? I see there is an approved fix for the 3.0 TDI's in the SUVs (VW Toureg, Q7, etc) but not on the A6 or A8. I thought they were the same engines. Anyone know what's up? I am thinking of doing a buyback on my VW Passat TDI and upgrading to the A6.
