A6 headlight zenon Q's
1998 2.8 30v qttr
doing a restore of this ride and I know the headlights used to be
blue zenon. I see all the wiring and the "danger high energy" stickers.
I've read tons of threads and really can not find a simple answer
on how to restore the xenon intensity. the bulbs still work (both low and high)
but no blue. does this mean the balast pack is toast? can that be
easily replaced? I see tons of e-bay offerings and a confusing
list of options. what is the best approach?
also have one side just glazed over. anyone had any luck cleaning this from
the inside? ouside cleaning does nothing....
Thanks!

the xenon (said like but not spelled liek zenon) bulbs come in different "temperatures". The temperature represents the color of the bulb. The bulbs pretty much range from 3000K (yellow) to a mid of around 6000K (white) to 8000K (blue) to 12000K (purple)
If the ballasts were borked the lights wouldn't light
