When reversing and turning the steering wheel to the right, there appears to be a noise coming from the left hand front axle, asound very similar to a locked dif trying to work against itself, this is the only times it happens, any suggestions?

 

Does to noise start as soon as you begin moving backwards while turning right?...or does it only start after you're already moving?

 

cv joint??? Inner maybe?

 

The noise starts after we start moving, and only while on that lock, it does not sound like a normal buggered cv noise would make.
