Question A6 Quattro problems..

I just got a 1997 A6 Quattro on Friday, and I've noticed that when I hit about 65-70mph on the freeway a high pitch sound (imagine blowing up a balloon and pinching the bottom so air comes out in a squeeeeaaaal) comes from what seems like the dash area. I'm at a loss with cars, but I was wondering if someone might have experienced this, or maybe has an idea to what it is?

Also, when I brake sometimes, the brake petal is grabbed and then pushed back at my foot in like a kick. Any ideas on this?

I'm going to be taking it in to a dealer sometime early next month since the In.2 light has now come on. What all is checked in that?

Ugh........

Does it sound like its actually made by a buzzer? If so, it could be the MPH Warning.. Your manual will tell you how to reset.

The 'pushing back' is the ABS.. you prolly have one or more tires close to lock up while braking hard.

In.2 is alot of stuff, mostly emissions, but the brake fluid is supposed to be changed out as well.

Start a new thread and list exactly what happened... And please, knowing the car make and year is really helpful.
