A6 thinks it's in Europe (or Canada)

A6 thinks it's in Europe (or Canada)

The last few months, when I start the A6 the temperature readings are all in Centrigrade. I can reset them by simultaneously depressing the recirculate button and the driver's temp +, but it is going back to Centrigrade at start-up. The temperature has always been in F until this happened.

Is my ECU going senile at 164k miles? Did it lose it's configuration and now needs a vag-com reset? Do I have to improve my math skills so I can convert the temps? Should I move to Canada?

Move to Canada, it will save you the aggravation in the end

Haha, my 03 a6 4.2 does the exact same thing. I gave up switching it to F all the time. Just figure the Celcuis out, it's not hard. 10C is 50 degrees, 20C is 70 degrees, 26C is 80 degrees
