Hey everyone
My 2006 4.2 is acting weird. I went to class, drove and started fine, then i went to work. After work i went to start it and nothing. All the lights come on, i can move the steering wheel and the shifter. I tried jumping it but that didn't work. So i left it over night and went back to work the next morning, the car started up on the third try and drove fine back to my house. Tried to start it again later that day but it wouldn't start again. I'm having a friend run a scan on it but i don't know when he'll be able to get to it. So i'm just seeing if any of you might have some ideas so i could look into them in the mean time.

breakdown:
All the lights turn on like it normally would
steering wheel and shifter are not locked up
car won't crank but will start up randomly

I'll post when i find out from the scan but if anyone has any ideas please let me know.
