Has anyone had the pleasure of replacing the thermostat on a 95 A6Q? Is it a fairly simple procedure or do you need to be a Russian gymnast to do it? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Since the thermostat is behind the timing belt on the 2.8L V6 12 valve AFC engine, you need to be very careful that you don't get your timing off and destroy the engine. A cam alignment bar holds the cams in position and a crankshaft locking pin holds the crankshaft at top dead center when installing the timing belt.
