Sure.....

ZVW239003 - "Gasoline Additive" 192ml bottle - msrp $4.25
This is the factory recommended maintanence dose that's been around for years. I use this stuff at least once a month.

and

G001770A2 - "Multipurpose Additive for Petrol" 90ml can w/spout - msrp $8.00
This is the intensive cleaner recommended for the alleviation of fuel quaility issues on newer FSI engines, but it can be used in non-FSI cars as well.

I've never used BG 44K in a VW or Audi, nor have I ever seen any side-by-side comparisons...but the "Gasoline Additive" is probably more comparible to Chevron Techron in that it significantly reduces deposit accumulation. I've also used it repeatedly in my 300k+ mile Volvo and the tops of intake valves were always sparkly clean.

The main attribute of acetone is the ability to dramatically reduce the surfice tention of the gasoline - the result should be better vaporization and completeness of the fuel-air mixing->enhancing the burning efficiency.
As many sourses point - not all acetone is created equal - the best should be some brand used in Beauty salons.
I periodically run acetyone (as only additive) in my cars - no adverse effect, neither any benefits.
I tend to assume I have not found the correct acetone yet...

My home blend (based on the ingredients found in LubroMoly, WD40 and Seafoam) is:

kerosene -30%
naphtha -30%
mineral spirits -30%
toluene-xylene-acetone -10%

Thats the best explanation I've heard for using acetone. You mix up a home blend, how interesting. What other spirits have a surface tension reducing property?
