After the flood

Thanks again for the advice. If it was'nt for this advice i would have had no idea where to look. It would have meant another expensive visit to Audi to have it fixed. The repair was an easy one but difficult to get at. I took the option of cutting the carpet in the rear under the seat to get at it. A bit scary, as carpet is thick becuase of the insulation foam and cutting close to the wireing loom. Once finished and the carpet rolled back you cant see the cut.
This what i like about this site there is always someone who knows something about something. Bril Phil

Yea I know what you mean I dont post here alot but thats mainly due to the fact that almost everytime I can find the answers I need by doing a search. But your right this was one of those things that there isnt alot of information on here. needless to say I spent a few long evenings getting to know the wiring harness on these cars Intimately!!!
The first one I did I completely stripped out the interior and tore into the harness once I figured out the issue it was an easy fix. That one was for my daughter but I liked the car so much I found another just like it for me and the fix only took me a couple hours and a new trans module and it was back on the road.
