Default After Market Siruis Radio Installation

Just purchased a 2003 A6 quattro and I need assistance with powering my radio. Because of the layoutI can't keep my radio plugged into the lighter and the lighter is alway on even with the key off. I want to tap power that is activated by the key. I also want to hide the wiring. Please give me a place that I can tap the juice. I tried the fuse box but as I jury riggeda fuse butthe radio still wouldn't operate.

Tie into the factory radio power supply.

Jeffla, that's great....specifically looking for: A) an easiliy accessible power point or B) guidance in getting to that factory power supply. Because once there I'm sure the wires are not all labled, right? You are answering a serious question with a quick response that is pretty self evident so far....
