Default after replacing a ride height sensor, do headlights need to be recalibrated?

I had to replace one of my ride height sensors due to an apparant hard failure. Now, my headlights are in the "full down" position and don't seem to want to go through their start up dance. Why not? What do I need to do to get them working? Or, better yet, can I disable the whole system and not get the warning in the gauge cluster?

Thanks,

Bob

I know you can reset it w/ VagCom in the Xenon Range module by going into basic settings and letting it do it's thing - RossTech: http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/car...alignment.html If this isn't the case for your car (i don't know what year ya have), then there is a link for newer instructions on there.
