I have a 2001 allroad. I'm getting the light coming on for the suspension and for the auto-dimming headlights.

I took it to my mechanic who ran the codes and said its throwing out a code for a front left ride height sensor.

The curious thing is that there is no apparent physical issue---the front left wheel appear to be at the same height as all the others, and runs up and down through all four levels of the air ride suspension with no apparent problems.

Two questions:

1) Anyone know where to find an inexpensive replacement for the sensor?

2) Anyone experience this issue before and have any insights? I would hate to spend a lot replacing the sensor itself only to find that it is more likely a corroded wire or something.
