I have a 2008 Audi A6 Avant. Recently the driver door won't unlock with the key fob. I have to open the door from the inside. The outer door handle will then open and close the door easily once it has been opened once from the inside. The key fob battery was changed which did not help. All the other doors are locking and opening fine and the key fob will lock the drivers door but won't unlock it. Very confusing!! Has anyone any ideas before I go paying for a new locking mechainsm?
