I am not able to switch the A/c or disable the ECON setting, everytime i press the AUTO for switching on the compressor, it reverts back to ECON, and i don't get any cooling, any pointers on this.....

 

it should be in you hand book how to set it up "not my area im sorry" but one point is ECON= economy mode AUTO costs more in fuel to run because the A/C is under heavier load

How long does the a/c take to kick in if both the driver and passenger settings are set to LO / 64 deg F i am assuming that it should not take more than 5 - 10 mins to cool down but i haven't been able to reach cooling at all with this setting.

 

your a/c will revert to econ mode when you are low on refrigerant, low pressure sw. tells control head. take it somewhere and have them put dye in the system to determine where your leak is.
