I'm pretty comfortable messing with engine components-but I've always been a little leery of the wiring. I believe that I have the worn out wire connector that throws the airbag light. I've sprayed out the connection with electric wire cleaner...didn't work. So, i'm guessing I need to replace the connector. Does anyone have a diy for this? I believe it's a 3 wire to 2 wire connector....I don't want to cross the wires. Somebody help a brother out

Do you know its the connector or is it the module which fails somewhat frequently?
I've heard that there are people who bypass airbag wiring when they remove them to trick the computer. Maybe this can be done with the module?

well, it could be the controller-but i'm getting the intermittent code which I believe is the wire. I think repairing the wire would be the cheapest option to start with.

A fair enough assumption. I would say open it up and just change the wires 1 at a time. If you are simply replacing the connector it should be some simple soldering? Maybe I'm missing something.
