hi. my boss have a 2002 a6 with a huge water leak. the floor in rear footwell is soaking, but i cant find any posts on where the drains are located, or how to deal with the problem. i had the same problem on my a8, but it was only on the driver and the pass footwells, not in the rear.

any help would be great.

 

We had the same problem. It turned out to be a clogged drain tube underneath the batterry. When this clogs it allows watert to get in through the vents.

 

Hi there.Ive got a 2001 a6 and i had the same problem and it turned out to be the plastic strip on the bottom of the windscreen,had the screen changed and this solved the problem.
It is very common for the a6 to suffer this.
