It isn't like it is brain surgery but there are a few things that can be an issue. I personally have seen several people that have all said it looks so easy only to have them have issues. Seriously just contact Vast Performance let them know you have cores to ship in and you will get a discount. in the end you will see all the work you do is not worth the money you will save

just my .02 as this has been asked several times

It's a lot of work. I don't know which DIY you've seen, but you'll need access to a welder and various other tools. Probably a good idea to just send it to VAST. They've been doing them for a while now, and they have the experience. You need to know where to re-locate the O2 sensors and put it all back together correctly. Not an impossible job, but not exactly "change your oil" easy.

you took it to an indie shop and they said they couldn't do it? well I guess if they said they couldn't do it I would stay clear of them for any other work. A good muffler shop should be able to knock it out in a matter of hours. I would take it to almost any exhaust shop. Just remember you don't need to extend your Rear O2's there is plenty of slack in the line you just need to cut the zip ties off further up towards the top of the fire wall.

you will love piggies they are a great piece

Technically, no shop is supposed to touch them as they are part of the factory emissions control system and tampering with them is a Federal offence. Better off DIY, or find a performance shop that is willing to work on your "race" car. If you are near Detroit, I can help with that.
