Cmoney, just wondering with what company you have your warranty? Did they check your car before the warranty started?

 

Thats wild, the warranty company dont belive the dealer. Not most, but somerepairs will be over$1500.

Saintforlife...the warranty company didnt check my car out before I got it, but I kinda get where you are coming from, "just say it was on there when I got the car", but the warranty states, basically it dont matter when the mods were installed, if you buy the car from a dealer and it has themods on it already,the warranty isvoided from the start, so you just wasted $1700. I didnt know they would send someone out to check out the car, I was tryin to beat the system....I'll just mod whatever is not cover.

 

The warranty is from Continental Warranty. No, they didn't check the car before they covered it. I had to send them a statement with my mileage that I got from the dealer. Then I had to wait 1000 miles for it be covered for the next 3yr/36,000. Yeah, they wouldn't even believe the dealer. They wanted to check the codes themselves and verify the problem. Didn't make sense to me either, but I guess they've probablyhad some bad experienced with people getting new engines, transmissions, or turbos when there was nothing wrong to begin with. If you know the right tech, you can get them to say what ever you want them to, and upgrade your parts, ie; K03's to K04's.

 

I ask this tuner shop if they did warranty work, basically I have to call the warranty company and find out where I can take the car, I know I can take it to the dealer, but I want the hookup. I'm not gonna mod my car, but I want the K04 turbos.
