An old, resurrected thread. I'm still using mostly mid-range but occasionally fill with premium if I find a good deal, or alternate half tanks of mid-range and premium. I have never seen a difference in mpg either way and have doubled my mileage since the last post to 231k. The only thing that affects mileage is speed. Driving 55-60 results in 24-26mpg and my normal 75-80 drops it to 23 mpg.

I have changed from 93 to 89 octane. Mpg with 93 was 16. With 89 is 19mpg. I have gone back and forth w/same results. Can anyonr explain this?
