APR vs GIAC 2.7T
Ok hey guys I'm new to the A6 and Audi, I came from VW's and now I have a 2000 A6 2.7t 6spd. Anyways I've had my car for a little over a month and i'm getting ancy and I am thinking about chipping my car. The only mod so far is a modified air box. I am looking at either APR or GIAC, now GIAC is what I had on my VW's and I loved it but APR has this ridiculous torque #, it adds 140tq and about 60-70 hp GIAC is 80-90tq and 70-80hp over stock. So I'm looking for some input from anyone who has either. I'm also going to be adding exhaust in the near future also...

I'm going to do some searching but would definetly like to hear some experiences from people. Also if someone could tell me what TBB is? I'm going to be replacing the DV's also, i think i'm going to do Forge 007's on it. Also what is Stg 1,Stg 2, Stg2+ and Stg 3(I assume this is RS4 Turbo's). Also what how quick a car am I looking at Stg1-2+? I saw a video of one running 11's in the 1/4...

man haven't we beaten this topic to death in the last years ?!!! I am amazed how many times it comes back...
Search is your friend... many opinions on this one. Both are good reknown brands....
GIAC is said to be more aggressive, APR more linear and driveable... can't go wrong with either. GOAC is more flexible with upgrades if you intend on going stage 3 someday.
It is all I'll say.
