Hey guys, bought a 04 2.7T. Anyone chipped one of these yet? I have seen some chips on line for this. BIg question though, how long are the audis lasting before their turbos go?

 

Pretty much all of the s4 chips work on the a6. Turbo life is definatly related to being chipped or not. Ive seen unchipped cars go to over 120k. What happens is when you chip the car with some chips is that the turbo is forced to spin above its recommended max speed. That is what causes turbos to go early. My recomendation is to never go with just a chip. Always replace the two together. That way you get better power and reliability.
