I have an Audi A6, 2002 and some years ago when I lived in apartment a thief might have forced my door lock on driver's door. Now the key doesn't go all the way in. What does replacing the door lock mechanism require? I new mechanism but can you take the key sensor or the thing that "recognizes" the car's key from old mechanism and place it on the new one? How much work does it require?
