Default Audi a6 engine hose

Hi Guys and gals

I changed the engine coolant sensor in my bro's audi a6 2002 2.0 and the pipe in the link has snapped at the flexi end, its a 4 way pipe, just like a long pipe with flexi ends but with 2 smaller pipes coming off it, 1 goes to the coolant temp sensor hose and 1 to another pipe on top of the engine

Heres the link to pic Image - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting the part is highlighted and contunues under the plastic engine cover

Can anyone let me know what this might be so i can order it up, my bro says it has parts number 06b 129 627 but i found one on ebay and it doesnt look the same

Hoping someone can help as ive searched for 1 week without luck

Cheers all

Derek

Derek , that hose is called the air meter hose. It goes from the mass air flow sensor to the throttle housing.
As far as the part number from what i see your car looks to be like a Euro model so i could not help you there.

Just wanted to close this thread by saying I had to order be part through Audi, it was £43.86 and has part number 03b 129 627, the old part had 06b 129 627 on it and they are compatible parts as it fitted perfectly

Just in case anyone else needs this info

Derek
