Default Audi Side Skirts

I was curious if anyone has used the lower side skirts from an S6 or RS6 and placed them on an A6. I am not sure if they would fit in terms of thier height, but I am pretty sure they would fit going down the car. If anyone has any idea to some detailed information, please let me know.

Thanks

It will most definitely work on a wide body (4.2) A6. Boston Driver is going to be doing this shortly. The question for YOU is whether or not it can be done to a narrow body (2.8/3.0/2.7T) A6. Don't know the answer to that one.

Paging Boston Driver!...

I would lke to know myself! LLTek has side skirts for the 02 Facelift A6. My car is pre facelift, but other then that I didn't think there was any difference!

I attached some pics from LLTeks web site!

What do you think Southboro

This is a long debated topic on AudiWorld's A6 Forum...how to get that RS6 look in a narrow-body A6. LLTEK has those side skirts, but keep in mind that those are fiberglass, and therefore brittle. Maybe they ahve updated their products and those are now made of better material, but nobody has really taken a chance at those yet.

Sure, they give that look, but you will still be missing those wide fenders ))

I ahve a set of the OEM RS6 sideskirts and the flat door blades, just waiting for some time to send the car to the body shop and have all those painted up and installed....

Well BD, it does look like the LLTEK skirts are an option for us thin-hipped types (we HAVE concluded that the OEM ones will NOT work, right?), but I don't think I'd go that route. I share the concern you note about the durability of a fiberglass solution and I also don't like the look as much. I think the OEM ones tie in very nicely -- smooth transition between wheel flare and skirt. Don't like the LLTEK look as much.

So, looks like I'll have to leave the frilly skirts to my wide-bodies friends.

I have a collision parts database, but unfortunately it does not have any listings for RS6-specific parts. The only thing I could discern is what we already know - the V8 models have different rocker panel moldings than the V6 cars.
BTW - Factory trunk spoiler (RS6?) - PN# 4B0071640A94AX. $428.55 list. Paint-to-match (apparently made of unobtainium)
