My in dash cd changer is stuck and giving an error message of " error 3" any ideas how to clear this and get the CD player to respond and/or eject the disc's?

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer. BTW it is an 2003 A6 4.2 with BOSE stereo.

 

Pull the radio and disconnect the power supply, leave it diss-connected for about 10 minutes or so then connect it up again. Input the radio safety code and it should work fine again.

 

Thank you for the help. It ended up taking care of it self. My wife loaded a homemade cd into the changer and the adhesive label appeared to bo getting caught up in the changing mechanism. It finally ejected and has been working fine since. The obvious lesson here is to absolutely, positively never let your wife use your A6.
