Default Bad Dream

Ok, the Audi melt down stories are getting to me. Every time I browse the forums here, I read stories of white smoke and oil coming out of exhausts, oil leaking out by the quart, clanking and clunking noises, the dreaded turbo lady singing her song, and even people regreting their purchase of the 2.7T motor.

Last night, I had a bad dream where I tried to start up my car and every single warning light came on in my dash, white smoke and oil started to come out the exhaust and my turbos were howling. It sucked.

I woke up and realized that my car is fine. In fact, it runs perfect. My indy mechanic says it is one of few that has no oil leaks at all that he has seen. I have no warning lights, no oil or smokey exhaust, and my turbos seem good as new. I have 63,000 miles, and pretty much baby my car. I have no real mods other than 710Ns and an improved TBB from Achtuning. Am I the only one here with a problem free 2.7T? I'd love to keep this car for the next 5 years, but it seems that it is only a matter of time before things catch up to me.

When I had Alfa Romeos I had three. One that I was trying to figure out what was wrong, one waiting for parts, and onethat I was driving. I always left something wrong on the one I was driving because Alfa's don't do well unless they have a problem. (like a woman)

When I switched to Audis - (Just realized out that they both start with A) I had somewhat the same mind set so a few problems just makes life interesting.

Thinking about the A thing -- It looks as if mychoices will beAcura or Auston Martinif I want to change again.

Religion -- Never thought about praying that my Audi would run forever.

I got 350K on the 89-200QT. I wonder if I start to pray if it will come back to life and go another 150K!
