Default Blinkers will not...blink?

Last night I was driving home and found that my blinkers will turn on but will not blink intermittently like normal, they are just solid on.

I've seen a few posts regarding replacing the relay behind the hazard button, and was curious if this was applicable to my issue?

Thank you!

Yes, replacing the hazard relay should fix your problem.

Ok thank you for the assistance, it seems my hazards still work and blink. I will try and find the part online.

Thanks again!

Hi, Gahndai

I've included a link for two (2) online parts suppliers that deal in OE Audi parts. There are many others that advertise online...but these places have very competitive pricing.

I'm back!

So i replaced the relay with a used part I got online from Shokan.com

The blinker works great now except that it randomly click very rapidly it almost sounds like electricity is arching inside the unit. I removed the relay and reconnected it to ensure that everything was connected correctly, but still the same rapid clicking noise.

Did I get a faulty part, or am I doing something wrong here?

Thanks again.
