Hello all,

I really should have asked this a long time ago already. I have a 2006 A6 that was given to me as a company car. The bluetooth has never worked since I got the car but I remember the person who had it before me had the bluetooth working.

I have tried pairing numerous times when first starting the car and tried to inititate the search from my phone as well with no luck. It always says "Telephone is not installed"

Also, I have the window sticker and the car does have the Universal phone prep w/ Bluetooth.

Tried my old Bberry/Wife's Iphone, my Iphone, nothing works.

Anyone have any insights?

I took it to the dealer and they gave me some story that my buttons were sticking on the MMI and that I needed a new MMI. One button sticks a bit but I don't think its a problem at all.

Anyone who can help me getting this working and I will wire $100 via paypal.

 

Hey I Just got an 08 and I'm having the same problem. It still has the owner before me contacts and what not and every time I have tried to use my phone it won't connect. So if you have figured it out please let me know
