Bluetooth Problem
While the dealer may be telling you that 11.9 is up to date, the dealer is wrong and you should find a different dealer. I am running version 33.6 and have been for approximately 3 years. There are other members that are running more current version 44. Version 11.9 is like running DOS. BY the way I am running an HTC phone with full functionality on version 33.6.
There is currently a thread running over on AW, where people are updating the MMI themselves.

Upgrading the HTC Hero to Android 2.1 Eclair has rendered the device useless in the car. Bluetooth syncs up with no audio and the MMI says call ended immediately upon connect and hangs up. Using the phone directly while in the car has no audio either so I had to disable Bluetooth entirely in order to make and receive calls in the car !
Has anyone found a solution to this ? Audi says since the HTC Hero is not on their supported list of phones, I am on my own.
