Default Brake Rotor Question

Does anyone know who manufactured the brake rotors for Audi?
Vehicle is a 2000 A-6 Quattro bi turbo 2.7 ; wife's car.
I would like to replace all 4 brake rotors with the same ones supplied by the factory without buying from Audi and paying their high price.
She does not need drilled and slotted rotors; factory original is fine.

Who manufactured these rotors for Audi and where can I buy them other than Audi?
Thank you
Kurt

Go to blauparts and look up the brakes. You may need to know the hat height of the rotors, which you can measure once the wheel is off, or call the dealer and ask them. You will want to replace pads as well. On the 2002 model the rear break piston needs to be pressed and rotated in order to reset it so that pads will install. Without the tool it is a p-a-i-n to do, but can be done with a set of needle nose pliers whose pointed ends fit into the depressions on the piston. Take care not to damage the rubber boot or you are looking at replacing the calipers. You can get a rear piston reset tool on ECS tuning for like $30.00. Fronts do not need to be rotated. You can uses whatever means to press the piston back in. Blauparts sells OEM style or better for a good price. Good luck!

ATTENTION! 1999-2004 A6 models have 2 completely different front brake setup possibilities. They are not interchangeable. These models could have 8 brake pads or 4 brake pads. It is the responsibility of 1999-2004 A6 owners to determine their brake setup before ordering and clearly designate '8 Brake Pads' in the field below.
It is funny that no matter how many pads are required for each particular model (4 or 8) the price for the front "kit" remains $ 219...
We've critically evaluated numerous brands of Audi A6 brake rotors and pads, varying in price and quality...... You don't have to experiment to find the best setup, we've done it for you!
They experimented with "numerous" brands, yet don't even tell you what's the brand of this only type they sell you...

I would give also Arizona Autohaus a try.
The front OEM ones (ATE/Zimmerman) - and they're vented, too - are $ 60/piece. This if your rotor diameter is 288mm.
The 321 mm are $ 80.36.
The OEM rear rotors are $ 30.59/piece.

I would check some other places as well (genuinevwaudiparts.com; ecstuning; germanautoparts.com; partsgeek.com; alleuropeanautoparts.com; etc, etc).
If you don't care about how much money you spend, of course you can go with Blau and forget of all the others.

No problem, you're very welcome.
There are so many other merchants carrying Audi OE parts, but if you don't have my patience to compare prices (yeah, I'm a "cheap" bastid) there's no point in mentioning the whole plethora of parts sellers.

goood luck.
