I just replaced the brakes on my 2000 A6 and now I have the Amber brake symbol as well as a flashing red Brake light. The fluid level is correct and all seems fine with the brakes working. Any suggestions on what could be this problem?

 

Did you ensure that you connected the brake pad wear sensors for the front pads? Also, make sure the wiring leading from the wheel speed sensors up front are in good condition and not frayed/damaged.

 

After I found broken wires on pass front brake wear sensor I fixed this but I still have a flashing red brake light. I am unsure what this could be, any thoughts?
